Cancellations & Deferrals

All requests for cancellation or deferral of a course must be received by MPES in writing.

Deferral: Where the full amount has been paid, an enrolment can be deferred for one relevant sitting (subject to availability), provided that MPES receives written notice at least 2 weeks prior to the course commencement date.

An administration charge of £50 (inc. VAT) per course will be invoiced by MPES.

No refunds will be made and amounts paid will be carried forward accordingly. If it is necessary to purchase new course materials upon recommencement of deferred study then these will be invoiced separately.

Cancellation: Written notification must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the course commencement date. A cancellation charge of £100 per course (£50 in the case of CPD courses) will be invoiced by MPES.

Full course fees will be payable if less than two weeks notice is given and no refund will be made in such circumstances (but, in the case of CPD courses, students / delegates may attend an alternative equivalent CPD course free of charge if the cancellation is made at least four working days before the course).

Refunds are not available of any amounts paid for study materials, where the materials have been supplied to the student / delegate.

MPES reserves the right to use its discretion to determine whether to make refunds under particular exceptional circumstances.

In the event of MPES cancelling a course (eg due to insufficient numbers), we will transfer the student / delegate onto the next available course. Where this is not suitable, MPES will reimburse 100% of the course cost. Alternatively a credit will be held for use against any MPES courses.

Any refund made by MPES will be paid to the original payer.

If necessary, a further follow-up letter will be sent to the complainant to say the necessary action has been taken.
